Conference "Measures for tackling poverty in Europe, Italy and the Minimum Income program in the Province of Trento": POSTPONED

The conference has been postponed to a later date, yet to be determined

The conference has four goals. First, taking into account the exceptionality of Italy in the European context due to its substantial lack of national level measures for contrasting monetary poverty and material deprivation. Secondly, introducing ideas and proposals that important Italian civil society organizations are carrying out in order to protect living conditions of socially and economically disadvantaged social groups. Then, presenting the results of rigorous impact evaluation which was designed in order to assess the anti-poverty measure implemented by the Autonomous Province of Trento. And finally, understanding whether it is possible to draw useful suggestions from the Trentino local experience in order to design policies against poverty and deprivation at the national level.
